- new algorithms for polynomials, polynomial matrices and/or polynomial equations or
- industrial applications of polynomial methods in systems, control and signals.

In the year 1999 the competition was organized in cooperation with the European Network for Industrial Applications of Polynomial Design Methods

Year 2001
The year 2000 call expires on March 30, 2001. On April 1, 2001, the PolyX BEST PAPER AWARD 2001 will be announced, following the same rules as the year 2000 run.
