The POLYX PRIZE for the BEST PAPER ON POLYNOMIAL METHODS

General Conditions

1. The author(s) of the winning paper are awarded EUR 500 and a Diploma.
2. The papers published or accepted for publication in international technical journals or conference proceedings are considered that describe

• new theoretical achievements in polynomial methods or
• new algorithms for polynomials, polynomial matrices and/or polynomial equations or
• industrial applications of polynomial methods in systems, control and signals.

3. The papers must be submitted to PolyX, Ltd., along with the Paper Submission Form filled in and signed.
4. The Polynomial Toolbox 2.0 or later must be used during the research or design and must be referred to in the paper. The author or his/her employer must own a valid license of Polynomial Toolbox 2.0 or later.
5. Depending on the number and quality of papers submitted, PolyX Ltd. reserves the right to award more papers or none.

The year 2000 call expires on March 30, 2001. On April 1, 2001, the PolyX BEST PAPER AWARD 2001 will be announced, following the same rules as the year 2000 run.
